About meI am a 30-something, stay-at-home-mom to 4 children: Caedon (13), Alec (12), Maddy (8), & Ashlyn (6). I am married to my college sweetheart. I grew up in Baton Rouge, La. and wish I had absorbed more of it's colorful cuture. I have a degree in Human Development (experiments still in process). I would rather read than do laundry; I do not clean toilets. I have a need for things to be balanced, coordinated and aesthetically pleasing; If you don't believe me, come check out my pantry. I have a desire to be consciously aware; In trying to apply mindfulness, I hope to find refinement, a meaningful connnection with others, and a calm refuge within myself. I owe a little bit of who I am to everyone who has ever loved me.

Or whatever your name is. Whe share 18 books I can also seriously identify with your profile on many levels. Plus I would also rather read than do the laundry or any housework for that matter.

I have not seen Infamous. I will have to check it out. I saw Capote with Phillip Seymore Hoffman. I believe that he was nominated for Best Actor for his role as Capote. Capote was interesting because the murders were a side story. The movie was mostly about his process of writing the book and how he was affected by those involved. Some parts of the movie portrayed him as being very deceptive, especially with Perry. He lied to him quite a bit in order to get what he wanted from him. Juddy and I liked the movie very much.

It looks like there are 22 books on our lists that are the same. I see that you have The Handmaid's Tale. Did you decide to buy this book because of the stellar review that I gave it on my blog?
You have lots of books. I look forward to the day when I have lots of books to fill in home office lined with custom book shelves.
What are your top five books? In no particular order, mine are:
A Condederacy of Dunces
The Power of One
1984
Lonesome Dove
The Godfather
