Dear chargirlgenius: Your user name intrigued me, so I stopped by for a visit. I just bought "The Song of Roland", both in English and French. Our daughter, Amy, is going to have to help me with French pronunciation. She was an au pair for the children of a French couple in London last year. A teenage girl relative of the mother stayed with us for a month during June. I'm also trying to work my way through "The Confessions" by Augustine in Latin, "Beowulf" in Old English, and Patrick's "Confession" and "Letter". As an architect, I'm fascinated with the castles and cathedrals of the Middle Ages. My paternal grandparents were from Norway, so I've also got a number of books on the Vikings, a couple of which you have. Well, it is nice to see someone else who likes to go back in time. It certainly helps in putting this world in perspective. Please feel free to stop by for a visit. yangguy
