About me Unix™ system administrator living in Seattle, WA, US. Grew up mostly in southeastern Michigan, and spent a fair amount of time affiliated with the University of Michigan as a student and employee. Fan of the Detroit Tigers, motorcycling, reading, dogs, music. Watch way too much television. Atheist.

About my library I'm still in the process of entering my books here, so my current catalog is not wholly representative; I have all my paperbacks entered, but they are mostly what I was buying as a young adult (and therefore heavily oriented towards SF). Also anything I've purchased since I started using the Thing is in here. I started using this site as a way to keep track of what I've been reading; every book I've read since fall 2006 is in here.

Within the first day or two of entering books I becaming extremely 'anal' about getting the exact right cover image, title, author name, publishing details, etc. It makes getting everything entered much slower than it might.

Saw that you've read "Can't You Get Along...". Just finished reading my brother's copy of the book - read Zero a while back. What did you think? At first I was ready to toss it off as a lot of whining but he sucked me in. Talk about some bad luck on making friends. Hope the self publishing route works for him.
good to see you here!
