About mehmmmm

About my librarybooks on poetics and prosody: One imagines it's all about form and the poet as "maker." The tension created by the conscious imposition of form (or structure) on the creative impulse has value (and is art.)

Thanks for exploring the part of my library that's gone up. I'd joined poetry fool and, yes, maybe I'll put something up one of these days of my own poems.... Cheers.
Glad I could offer something of use. I'm a big workshop junkie myself. Not in one (well, heck not writing much of anything of my own) right now, so it was good to get a chance to flex ye olde close reading muscles.
I posted another poem, I. It's not very clear though, in fact, it is less clear than the previous one, but I like to consider my poems as collections of sounds and images that reflect in the reader's mind and take a shape of their own. They certainly do have meaning to me, but I don't expect it to be the same for everyone, so I try to keep an open meaning (or maybe call it "intention") in them... I guess it's not an easy thing to explain... Thanks for the tip about the contest, but it would be a bit pointless for me to enter because I live in Argentina, and I assume the contest is for US residents, isn't it?
