Good morning,
well I'm glad but not surprised you enjoyed CODES. I really idnetified with the story being
a long time staff guy. Great little book. We really enjoyed Seattle & Victoria way back when...very different feel from the California coast. We;re just back from big blowout there (wedding). Did get to do some traveling on the Coastal Highway. So now, are you back on the Peninsula or reading something else?

Next week, I'm attending a staff ride (leadership) at Antietam. We'll have a historian & 2 renactors along explaingin things. I've been reading through all my Antietam stuff,
LANDSCAPE Turned RED (the classic) & others as prep. SHoudl eb an interesting day.
Well, off to a meeting.
Cheers
J
I think you'll find Man Who Broke N's Codes an enjoyable & fast read. Urban also wrote a book which I've not read about Wellington's Rifles. We leave for LA tomorrow ourselves after work, Jan's best friend's oldest getting married...Newport Beach? This has been an intersting week on LT, one of my fav authors has been available to chat...ALan FUrst, has a string of WWII & pre-war espoionage novels that are excellently researched and very well written. His next one will be on the campaign in Greece. Mussolini's failure there lead to German invasion of the Balkans& Crete.
Well, time for more coffee...tell'em all hi for us. Love, J
