I recently got through with my music catalogue (COMPLETELY through, not just "through except for a hundred singles"), and recommend the site I used. Take a look at rateyourmusic.com. (I'm Marchbanks over there, too.)
I orta known I'd find you round here. ;)

Glad to have led you to The Brendan Voyage! I keep meaning to read some of his other books but have yet to do so.

I read Bujold ages ago and enjoyed it, but was slightly overwhelmed by the size of the series that I didn't read further. I am adding the two you recommended to my list, thank you!

There's a new Emma Bull book coming out, by the way.
Hey Chris,

We seem to share a few of the same books.
Hi Chris, I tried Tim Powers some years ago but for whatever reason, he and I just never went anywhere as reader and writer. Odd, because all I've read of him I SHOULD have liked him.
Oh and I should have added William Browning Spencer! What a great writer and one who has been overlooked!
Hi Chris, we share a fondness for both James Crumley and Kage Baker. Good to "meet you"!
