About my libraryI like to read anything by Bukowski. I dig things with lots of sex, drugs and violence. Comics and poetry. Random porno magazines and art books with lots of pretty pictures.

Hey,

Just a quick note to let you know that my new novel, Dirty Little Angels, is now available. Thought you might like it since it's been compared to Larry Brown, whom I noticed you like. Here's a link to a summary in case you're interested:

hahhh-woooooooo!!!
I love Bukowski! He is the only writer I can think of who can take terrible things and make them hilarious. Post Office is probably my favorite novel, but I am most fond of his short stories.
You have quite an extensive Bukowski collection, as well as many other interesting works. We share some books in common. I really like your library... Gives me some ideas for new purchases. :)
Hi Chrissy,

We share quite a few books, so I thought I'd introduce myself. I'm Scott and like you, I'm quite a lover of The Buk. My favorite Bukowski is PLAY THE PIANO DRUNK.... Yours?

BTW, um, I have pretty much every book by Bukowski and certainly every book about Bukowski and I used to live near Bukowski and in fact would go over to his house in San Pedro, and ... I have no F***ing clue what "Jeffrey" there is talking about -- 'Hold, Keep the Cool'??? Whatever....

Anyway, take it easy and, BTW, how about updating your blog? :-)
Chrissy,
Good to meet another lover of Bukowski's works; the university library here in Tucson has a great collection of his rare stuff, and I often go there to photocopy a few excerpts now and then. I also see you are into the Beats; I recently bought two books of poetry by the late Bob Kaufman. As Bukowski would salute us, 'Hold, Keep the Cool, Jeffrey
