Thank you for your interest in our ‘hoi polloi’ publication. It represents our first charitable endeavor and you will note that it suggests a somewhat local flavor. Hi ciridan--I just joined club read and am slowly reading through people's threads. Just read yours, and saw that you lived in the New Orleans area. I lived there for 20 years, most of the time uptown, last three years in Lake Vista. We left in 1986. I've only been back once (pre-Katrina), but still have family living up in St. Francisville.

I'll be following your thread. It looks like you're reading some interesting books.
