Noticed you liked The Bluest Eye, and I was wondering if you'd be interested in reviewing my new novel and posting your comments here as well as a few other book-related sites. Thought you might like my book since it's also southern and a bit dark. I could e-mail you the novel in an e-book format if you'd like (I'm out of physical copies at the moment). Let me know if you're interested. Here's a link to a summary in case you're interested:

Thanks,

Glad to see Heart of Darkness on your list. I love Heart of Darkness and I never tire of teaching it; the other A.P. teacher at my school dropped it from his list. I keep teaching it and this year's class loved it. I am a big Conrad fan. Have you ever read Lord Jim? It's my favorite - or second favorite - book of all time.

Also - Tom Jones - is that the play you were in? We re-produced Tom Jones last year ( I had no idea what to do, I need a play for a big cast, and they wanted comedy), and it came out nicely. I thought of you the whole time when we rehearsed Mrs. Fitzpatrick's scenes.
