"So many books I need to read... "
Neh? Me2. But being inspired I have taken Gormenghast from the shelf to read it on my commute. Gotta start at the beginning again.

You got such a huge library, I'd be scared if you had read them all!
Amazing, we don't share so many books, but apart from Baudolino they're all my very favourites (erm... haven't finished Gormenghast yet...)
oh, oh! moving and books? lots of books? like, thousands of books, as we seem to have? is terrible. i offer no illusions on the matter, and so far i've only had to do partial moves--to and from college, storage until we have an apartment, the summer we had to put all of our belongings in an offsite storage locker while they scraped the asbestos off our floorboards, for example. my only advice is: use lots of SMALL boxes so they don't become impossible to lift, once packed, and, also, consider initiating a cull a few weeks beforehand.

yeah, i hate culls too.

i like the same thing about your library, you know. since i don't work at a bookstore any longer, i have to trust people like you to show me what's interesting!
Hi, I just joined this site. I noticed that you're interested in parenting books. Have you read The Ultimate Guide for Stay at Home Parents? Here's a link: http://www.ulitmateparents.blogspot.com
2,299 books, and just a glance over your recent activity makes me swoon. einsteiner's dream and the audacity of hope: i knew i was right to pick you as a hero!
Thanks! The books on music are positively addicting. Once you start, it's impossible not to collect heaps of them. As for bizarro, Chemical Gardens is a great one to start with. It's sort of a modern version of The Wizard of Oz, with punk rockers on a tour that goes...off the beaten track, so to speak. Definitely worth a read.
