First off - thanks for following along on the talk I posted about those pictures of Neil Gaiman's library.
As far as Mr. Del Toro goes, I actaully read in an interview about his film Hellboy II:the golden army, that it was based on Lord Dunsany's book The King of Elfland's Daughter. I actually read it a while ago and it is pretty cool! And speaking of Hellboy, if you go check out the comic series the films are based on, there is tonnes and tonnes of folklore in them.
Pretty cool stuff - right now I'm trying to work my way through Neil Gaiman's bibliography for American Gods, which you can find at http://www.neilgaiman.com/works/Books/Am...
I'm pretty new to Librarything, so if I'm going overboard with the suggestions, please let me know - I just always get excited when I meet other people interested in myths and folklore.
