About me My name is Hawthorne and I’m a thirty-something Domestic Goddess and Witch living in Los Osos California. I was born and raised on the Central Coast, and while I have visited other places I wouldn’t want to live anywhere else. My home is my heart, and I have dedicated myself to filling it with love, joy, and harmony. I love to create and I’m a lifelong crafter; whether it is homemade bread, dreamcatchers, or healing potions; I am there. Growing up, I had an obsession for everything magical and I have been researching the occult ever since I can remember.

I believe that the Divine is present in everything: human, animal, plant, and mineral. All of these are deserving of love and respect, for the Earth is sacred. Divinity is not an external force, it lies within all of us. I believe that everything is interconnected, so to harm one part is to harm the whole of existence. I believe that the Divine is a personification of the ultimate creative force of the Universe. This force can be perceived in many forms, but is ultimately one single force. I believe that magic is the use of meaningful symbols that allow individuals to connect and speak to their unconscious and through it contact the super-consciousness and bring change about in themselves and within the world. Believing what I do, I work daily at attuning to the Earth and its cycles through ritual, magic, and natural-living.

About my library These are the books that I own on the Occult, Witchcraft, and other related topics. I could recommend almost all of these books for one reason or another, even some of the ones I haven’t read. I have read more than what is listed here, and while some of those books were good and I learned from them, they weren’t good enough for me to want to collect.
