I'm in an EALC program. In the US, EALC has a reputation for being literature-centric, but can be disciplinarily porous by design. This is great because my interests are actually in film (specifically Republican Chinese film and Taiwanese film before New Taiwan Cinema) and music; as such, I don't fit neatly into any disciplinary category.
Your work sounds quite rich in potential.
