Hallo ctorre ! (from Cheriton Bishop - a medium village
in the lovrely county of Devon, England)
Trying to edit my INBOX I found a message from Librarything which invited me to log on to your profile.
I have done so and would like to know - are you an author ? If so - what kind of books do you write ? And have you had them published ? And if so, which method did you use ? It is always interesting to exchange
For myself I have written only the one book which is an autobiography of my long (I am 80 years of age) and very adventurous life. If you would like to know more about it please log on to: http::/www.davidjmitchell.co.uk and you will come to my Home page. This page contains an option to communicate with me by email if you so wish or if you have any questions to ask.
Currently, you can also go to http::/www.aussieauthors.com/global and see what they are reading about me down in Aussieland.
Hope to hear from you
David (Mitchell) - Author of A BOY FROM NOWHERE - the story of a boy's struggle from poverty to affluence
Hallo C Torre
Thank you for adding me to your list of interesting libraries. If you will be kind enough to go to:
www.davidjmitchell.co.uk you will find my website which gives a lot of information about me, by books, my short stories, and my future intentions. But I am an old man and I need to hurry up with future intentions (!) But if God spares me I hope there is some life in the old dog and a couple more books too ! I am most excited about a compact book of short stories I have compiled but most of all I am excited about the prospect of writing my fantasy "IF" - a book in 3 parts which visualises what may have happened had Britain lost THE BATTLE OF BRITAIN.
That possibility has been written about but nobody has theorised, to the best of my knowledge the two different consequences of such an event. I know a great deal about Nazi-ism and Communism and we would have lived under one or the other. It would be intersting to write what might have happpened had not the immortal "FEW", as named by Winston Churchill, won the day.
Will look forward to hearing from you
David Mitchell
Thanks for the compliment and welcome to LT.
