About meI'm a classic bookworm - I'd much rather read a book than watch TV or a movie.

I'm a huge Anglophile. I'm still saving for my trip to the UK, but in the meantime I'm always looking for British novels that you can't buy in the US. I also enjoy reading British magazines like Heat!, OK!, Hello, and the British versions of Glamour and Marie Claire. And I love chocolate HobNob biscuits and Nestle Milky Bars. :)

When I'm not reading, I'm selling on eBay (user ID: curvy*mommy), or working on my Creative Memories scrapbooks.

I've been happily married for more than 10 years, and we have 3 wonderful sons.

--My 8-year-old is in third grade, and is quite the numbers whiz! He also loves WWII history, fighter jets, his Wii, and his dad's PlayStation3. He has finally discovered the joy of reading, and enjoys books about WWII fighter pilots, the Diary of a Wimpy Kid series, and humor books.

--My 6-year-old is in first grade. He is our comedian, and is always trying to make us laugh. :) When he's not being silly, he loves building with Legos, looking at books (yay!), and playing his Nintendo DS.

--My 4-year-old is in Preschool this year. He's a stubborn little boy just like his Dad, but he also has a sweet side, and loves his bear, blankie and Mommy. :)

In addition to my eBay business, I'm also a technical writer for a safety and critical control systems company.

My Favorite Things

--My family
--Reading (Chick Lit, fashion magazines, gossip magazines)
--eBay
--Listening to BBC Radio1
--Shoes!
--Kate Spade handbags
--TV:
Doctor Who (with David Tennant, yum!), Little Britain (eh, eh, ehhh!) Torchwood, The Amazing Race, The Daily Show, The Colbert Report, The Graham Norton Show, The Office, Extras, Top Gear, Dancing with the Stars, That Mitchell and Webb Look, anything on HGTV, The Apprentice, Clean House
--Scrapbooking
--Shopping!

About my libraryMy favorite genres right now are chick lit (especially British chick lit) and historical fiction. I also like non-fiction - I love Sarah Vowell's books, which are wonderful. But, I'll read almost anything if it sounds interesting. :)

I take good care of my books and try not to crack a spine or turn a corner down. Because as my grandma always told me, books are our friends! :) LOL!

Hi there. I noticed my book, Love and Other Natural Disasters, was in your library, and I wanted to let you know I'm doing an author chat for the next two weeks. It'd be great to see you there!

I see you read "Fly me to the moon". I don't see where it fits your MO (at least not the one I read) I liked it but I am an engineer turning librarian.
Try Charlene Cross for British romantic historical fiction. I used to read them aloud to my wife(now deseased) to help her fall asleep and have pleasant dreams (she suffered from severe chronic migraines).
I have a Scottish ancestory but live in America. I have been to London but I want to go back to visit Scotland and find my relatives.
I met Charlene Cross on a flight to ...(somewhere?).
She is a nice mom but only wrote a few books. I have all of them and used to see them for sale in K-Mart and the like.

P.S. Enjoy those kids, they grow up so fast.
