About meRight-brained by nature, left-brained by inclination, no-brained by choice, I'm thoroughly fixated by the notion of the written word. I speak in five languages, write in three, think in two, and can read in seven.

When I'm not reading, I like to pack my bags and travel, mostly short-haul trips into rural South East Asia.

About my libraryOh, it's actually a very small subset of my literary choices; being on a limited budget, I read more than I own. That said, can't help but comment that the nature of my collection has changed in the past few months; Indian English literature's chunk of the pie now seems to have gone down, while that of South American and South East Asian literature has gone up. Bound to happen, I suppose, as I further step out into newer cultures.

I usually make a studious attempt at avoiding bestsellers, but mostly for economic reasons; figured if I wait for four or so months, I'd get the same book for half the price.
