Thanks for requesting the George Orwell book for me. I'm definitely still interested, so I really appreciate your help.

Hi Cindy,

any sign of Brian Turner’s “Here, Bullet” that you were AngelMooching for me?
(Not that I'm jumping up and down in anticipation or anything …)

Thank you so much for being an angel!
Thanks for the angel mooch!
P.S. I forgot to mention that the trip was to the Poconos in Pennsylvania - Great Wolf Lodge. Have you been to any? There is one in Sandusky Ohio.
Hi Cindy,
Thanks so much for the update. We were away for March Break and I didn't have internet access so I'm late in replying - sorry about that.

My sister is in Calgary but she is moving back in July. If that weren't the case, you never know, it might have worked, since I had been promising her a visit. But there is still my sister in Rosamund, so I predict our meet and mooch will be taking place in the not-so-distant future!

It seems that I have been requesting angel books almost daily. I appreciate the fact that you are willing to send Ward Cleaver alone, but as long as it is not bugging you to have it sitting around, why don't we wait until another one comes up. Also, it sounds like Third Grade might arrive eventually?

Talk to you soon,
Thank you! :) :)
ps- Feel free to post them for me as soon as they are marked 'sent' to you. You get your points sooner, I get to keep track of my points. Win win! :)
Thank you for angeling those mystery books for me! :)
thank you for angelling "Royal Women who met a bad end"!
Thanks for trying. Back on the wishlist it goes!
Thank you so much for angel-mooching Little People for me.
I know she just added inventory yesterday, but her profile indicates she joined in 2008. Perhaps she's been observing us all this time and finally decided it's time to jump into the deep end :-) >fingers crossed
To be completely honest I had totally forgotten about this book! I'm glad you enjoyed it, and thank you for being an angel. ~ Charlene
Hi dadena, I've marked My Antonia as reserved for you in the tags and I'll post it on Friday, after I mail out the first set of my mom's books.
Wohoo, thank you so very much! :)
Thanks for angeling Talk of the Ton and My Dangerous Duke for me. Once again, you've made me a very happy moocher! :)
Hi Cindy,
It was great to hear your thoughts on Peony in Love. I actually read it a few years ago and wasn't really impressed...but wondered what was wrong with me because one very well-read friend of mine has named it her favorite book ever....but I agree with you - it had lots of promise, but really stretched things by the end. I'm neither much of a romantic nor very religious, so all of the spirit stuff was not authentic, for me. Just wondered how you felt about it.

I'm currently reading Sarah's Key but I am disturbed by it. I know that I should be, but I don't usually react so strongly. Have you read it? If so, what did you think? I'm only about 1/4 of the way through.

Talk to you soon,
Hi there,
What did you think of Peony in Love? I was looking for it in your library to see how many stars you gave it, since I am catching up with things here, and was reading the "what you're reading now thread", and saw that you were reading it in September.

(that's a run-on sentence - sorry :)

Thank you so much for trying :)
Oh, I forgot to mention: I'm ecp on BookMooch. :)
Thank you so much! Mail it whenever you need to go to the post office anyway :)
Thank you for angeling Italo Calvino for me Dadena! :)
Hi Dadena, I'm just getting to read your post about the book that was on your WL on PBS and BM as I was on vacation. I have noticed that because autorequests don't appear in the sellers pending tab on PBS like 48 hour ones do that a lot of PBS members esp new ones miss that it is on the hour wait. This has happened to me 3 times. So.. now I never put a book on Autorequest that I really want. I think PBS should have another tab for pending autorequests or at least include them in the pending Holds tab. That little "!" on your bookshelf just doesn't seem to cut it. Theresa
Thank you!! :) :)
Every time I go to the charity book store I look for Hills of Home, but no luck yet. Sometimes it takes a long time for donated books to make their way to the shelves, but I also may have missed it. I'll keep my eyes open and alert though!
That is no problem at all Dadena. Thank you so much for snapping it up for me! I missed one before, so was glad to get this one :)
Thank you for angeling Oranges are not the Only Fruit for me... You made my day! :)
If you want to go ahead and mooch the two magazines, I've listed them here:

Two magazines for 1 point is fair, right?
oh good- I'm glad you liked it! I thought you might have already seen it, but figured it was worth forwarding just in case. don't you just love the internet in general (and LT in particular)?
don't know if you've seen this site, but it seems to have The Hills of Home in case you want to read it:
I feel bad now that I know someone actually wanted The Hills of Home! I'm going to go to the book store this week and see if they've put it out yet.
Hi, thanks for angeling for me! I forget what the book is called right now: Ducks something (I do actually want it, I swear). My bookmooch id is peripa. Thanks again!
Thanks for being an angel!
My bookmooch ID is carolchezi
The book requested is Cat Spitting Mad (Joe Grey series)
Have a great weekend!
Hi there, just to let you know that the biog of Michael J Fox has now been sent to me (had to send the owner a reminder!). I will quickly read it before sending it to you, as I said before.

thanks and best wishes

I just noticed your message about "Bluebeard" by Kurt Vonnegut, Jr. I'm not in a rush, so whenever you can send it in June will be wonderful. Thanks again!

- Kevin
Mailing in June is fine with me as we only need them by Late July.

Just to check it is Magic School Bus books correct not Magic Tree House? I know the two series often get mixed up in conversation.

And have fun in the great state of Texas - if you are visiting near San Antonio I can recommend some excellent bookstores to visit while you are in town as I live there.

Thanks so much for getting them for me from PBS!
If you have to choose between the two Magic School Bus books I'd rather have the Season 2 activity guide as it's the harder to find one.

Thanks so much for doing this for me!

Yes activity books are okay - I actually need the set {Teacher, Student, and Activity Books} and activity books are the hardest to find!

If they have a lot of writing / coloring in them {more than about a third of the book} I'll have to pass though. Some is okay - that is why they make white-out.
Time Travelers Wife is reserved & ready when you are.
dadena, tomorrow I will reserve The Time Travelers wife for you on bm--I am Bo.

Somehow I managed to leave both of those in my office. Ah, maybe all the better and I will ship it tomorrow too!
Thanks for the Angel! Here's my details.

Book requested:The Stream of Life by Clarice Lispector
My BM ID: empirialist

Absolutely, much more variety than with c*ff**. I use mostly loose tea as well! My favourites are the Darjeelings and Assams. My tea cupboard keeps expanding, so I promised myself I would use up quite a bit of tea before I ordered more. Which of course means that I am running out of favourites, but some of the odd flavoured ones will be great for iced tea once it warms up :)
I've been lurking on BCteagirl's profile and I don't think I knew that you had relatives/ancestors from BC and Alberta...did I? Anyways, just when I didn't think that I could be more fond of you, I find out you that have some Canuck in ya, too.

Have a great weekend,
Hi there,
I see from your post on "pimp" that perhaps you made it to the dollar bookstore today? Hope you had fun :)

Used book sales are my favorite thing ever - except for perhaps, um, reading :)

It really is a small world isn't it! I never did develop a taste for c*ff**, I only drink tea! Mostly loose tea, I have quite the setup in the graduate office. What is your favourite tea? Did you know we have a tea group here? Was happy when I found that out :P
Not a problem at all, thank you very much :)
Thank you so much for angeling The Power of Half for me dadena, I really do appreciate it :)
Hi Cindy,

Just wanted to leave a heartfelt thanks for even trying for this other mooch - if it is a hassle just let it go... I can't seem to be able to mooch any of my wish-listed myself - or if I do they don't acknowledge me! Hope this phase changes soon...

So thanks so much!
*fingers crossed*
Yes, Cindy, condition is fine - thanks for checking!
Hi Again,
I always try to remember to tell you to please read a book first, and this time I forgot to - but yes, are you kidding me? I LOVE it when you read a book before sending it on!

It is supposed to be very good, and it hardly ever comes up on I hope you're able to snag it for us!

Talk to you soon,
P.S. While you were writing to me, I was checking out your wishlist because it has been awhile since I've sent to you. We are reading Unaccustomed Earth (Jhumpa Lahri) in the fall for my book my (yet to be purchased) copy will eventually be yours, if you don't obtain a copy elsewhere first!

A third book, if you'd like to try - it is hardcover though, so if a third (and heavier) book is more trouble than it is worth for you, please feel free to let me know. It doesn't seem to be desperately wished for, so I can try to get another angel, perhaps.

Thanks so much,
Hi Cindy,
Thank you so much. I've been wanting to read "The Invisable Wall" for so long now. I hope it works out, but if not, thank you for trying :)

Hi Cindy,
Just a little reminder that "The Girls from Ames" was angel-mooched for me. Please go ahead and read it first - I bet you'll like it (or not - and then you'll warn me!).

Thanks again,
Let's give the Little House book another week if you don't mind, and go ahead and cancel the Why Do Leave's Change Color book.

Thanks so much for helping me out!
Cindy, I'm so sorry...I'll have to go back and see what happened to your e-mail...whether it never arrived or if I skipped over it (have done that before, sadly.....)

I'll drop you a longer line by e-mail, to catch up!

Sorry for the delay, and thanks for sending them "on honour" - I do appreciate it :)

thank you for the Germanicus mosaic!
thanks Cindy! I'm sending her a mail letting her know about you!
The Constant Princess is yours ;)
Thank you for angelling" Beware Princess Elizabeth"!
Oh, that's funny -- you left a comment on my profile at 6:37 pm, and I left one on yours at 6:37 pm. We must have been typing on each other's profiles at the same time.
Great! Thanks a lot for everything :D
Thanks anyway. Maybe we'll be luckier next time.
I'm glad you liked Ravelry, there are many interesting patterns and sources there.

Thanks for the interest in the children's books I posted on the giftable thread.

I have two more that are like new:

And a couple that have either a little wear or a price sticker.
Thanks again. I'm glad you liked Ravelry it's a great and dangerous place, there are sooo many interesting patterns :)

Thanks for mooching the crochet magazine for me. I'm in no rush, I should finish other projects before starting something new :-) Are you also in Ravelry?

Hello Cindy,
Thanks for mooching The Dark Highlander (Moning Karen) for me.
If you need another point or something, just tell me.

Hi! Thanks for contacting the owner; I was wondering if it would ever get sent as well. I'm so sorry for the delay in getting back to you, but I don't check my LT comments very often.
Thank you so much, again!
I've reserved The Boy in the Striped Pajamas for you on BM. Mooch away!
Cindy! Thank you so much!
I was going to ask you directly, as I thought they might fit nicely in a flat-rate envelope, and been nice and economical. But then you may have felt obligated, even if you didn't want to get a third, so I was in a quandary. Hence I decided to post it on the thread - and it all worked out perfectly!

You are such an angel (whomever thought of that name for BookMooch had a rather clever idea)! Thank you - this is a first in a series too, so particularly pleasing.
Just wanted to say a huge thank you for mooching the book on Autism. We had one copy of the book, but it was so heavily used that it's fallen to pieces!

It's for ASDfriendly (one of the BM charities) & I'll send you a smooch over the weekend. This book is going to be very helpful for a load of people! :)
Thank you!
Wow! How wonderful! How fast! Thank you! The cover is of no importance; as long as the words are the same (a friend of mine continualy admonishes me) and are legible. LOL! She has a point...

I feel better now; as postage is so expensive two books (at least) make the pain a little less.

Hi Cindy,
I've found another book to help with postage - if that is still good for you, and if it is still available by the time you see this...

I haven't checked the condition in my rush to write this; and please do not worry if it is gone. To be sure, to be sure; there will be more! (I'm at work; it is Friday, and I have gone totally mad!)

So much appreciated, all this...
P.S. (I can never seem to remember to write everything *sigh*)

BTW - if you would like to wait for me to find another mooch; so the postage costs vs points is a better ratio; please delay as I am sure another will pop up soon.
Thank you, thank you, thank you: you are the best!!
I have wanted this book for ages, and I thought I had lost another chance...and now I just may get it (until it has arrived in your hands I will not jinx it)

Hey, I just received a mooched copy of Midwives and I see you rated it highly - we share so few books. :(
At least I know one is good.

Thanks again, I really appreciate it!
BTW sorry about jumping into France's angel list - that was actually quite funny, as I looked at their names and thought they were a bit French, and then I realised! Talk about on automatic mode! LOL!

Thank you thank you thank you for angeling Cat on a Hot Tin Roof for me, I really appreciate it!
my bookmooch username is also pioviggina
Thanks so much for responding. I really appreciate it. you could always ask your local library to order a copy (if they don’t have one already). The book is available on for about $10, but since I’m hoping for a review, I didn’t feel it was appropriate to expect you to buy a copy :)
Noticed you liked Ellen Foster, and I was wondering if you'd be interested in reviewing my new novel and posting your comments here as well as a few other book-related sites. Thought you might like my book since it's also a southern story about a disturbed young girl (and also a bit dark). I could e-mail you the novel in an e-book format if you'd like (I'm out of physical copies at the moment). Here's a link to a summary (and a sample chapter) in case you'd like to read more before you commit:
