About meI'm Dafyd Jones, I'm 20 years old, I live in Nottingham, in the middle of the UK. I'm a student at University College, Durham, where I study French and Arabic, and occasionally other things. I've just got back from spending four months at the University of Alexandria in Egypt, and now I'm trying to find a placement in Quebec.

I absolutely adore reading, and seem to spend most of my time with a book in front of me. I've worked in a bookshop, Waterstone's Nottingham, and in a school library. I've been on TV, and I'm on the interweb.

About my libraryI read anything and everything. An eclectic mix from Pratchett to Balzac, Waugh to Rowling, Uderzo to (ugh) Dan Brown. Favourite books? Practically anything by Evelyn Waugh, Amelie Nothomb, F. Scott Fitzgerald. Harry Potter's pretty good, as is Asterix. See - no pattern, rhyme or reason to what I read...!
