About meI'm a recent Ph.D. in cultural anthropology and I teach Anthropology and Women's Studies at a local state university. My interests include gender identity, religion, symbolic anthropology, anthropological theory, feminist theory, queer studies, and personal narrative. I did my dissertation on NeoPaganism, conversion, and identity construction.

I'm a feminist Witch, a knitter, an inveterate reader, dancer, yogini, and all around curious person. I engage in activism on a number of gender and diversity related causes and read widely on just about anything that catches my fancy at a given moment.

About my libraryMy library is eclectic, but you'll notice it weighs heavily towards anthropology, feminist theory, and religious studies. I read somewhere around 100 books a year, and am always looking for more. I'm on a fiction tear right now.
