About meI'm Daniel. I'm a librarian at an academic library. I enjoy reading a good mystery or suspense, autobiographies and Australian fiction. A good storyteller is one who can make us feel that their character is real, that we should feel some deep connection with them. Also, the environment in which a story is set should make us feel like we are there.

Apart from reading, I also enjoy surfing the Internet on topics that spark my interest, watching a good comedy or suspense movie and listening to a variety of music.

About my libraryI initially set up my LibraryThing account, because I had heard good things about it and was interested to see how it worked. What a great tool. Then I became busy with other things, until my Library decided to participate in a "23 Things-style program, so I came back to "play" again.
My library initially started with some of the favourite books I have read, a lot of them Australian, plus a few I have't, but I definitely want to!
