Don't know if you're interested, but I wanted to let you know that I'll be involved in an "Author Chat" about my novel, The Quickening (on your shelf), beginning next week (the 19th) and lasting through the following Monday. If you're interested, I welcome your questions and comments. Here's the link: www.librarything.com/groups/authorchat

And if you're a Goodreads user, I've started a Q&A group there that will stay open at least until September. The link is www.goodreads.com/group/show/35410.Q_A_with_Michelle_Hoover_author_of_The_Quickening

Hope you're well!

Best,
Michelle
Are you doing the December blog tour?
I know exactly what you mean. Some of them take so long to get here that I've already assumed I'm not getting it. Believe me, I think this is a good problem to have.
Now The Drum of War is a nice, finished, hardcover edition. I've got to stop requesting books, but I just can't resist some of them.
Heya! I followed you here after you mentioned LT in your comment to me! Despite the fact that you don't have that many books in your library, we have quite a few in common! (I see you also own Small Wonder by Barbara Kingsolver. Another one of her books I was excited about, but haven't read yet!)

I've had to start a spreadsheet to keep up with my requests, but the one I got today isn't on it because I requested way before I started it. I hope that makes sense.
My St. Martin's Readers Group Gold book finally came today.
I think UPS will be working on Columbus Day, so maybe we'll get something! I have so many books to read now and still hope for a new one every day.
Nothing for me from St. Martin's Readers Group Gold today. Now I have to wait until Tuesday to see if I get something. I hate when the Post Office has a holiday.
