About meI work in a public library for a county that hired several people who had bachelor's degrees in various subjects, but no Master's Degree in Library Science. We're called Library Associates. I work the Reference Desk, and I do the storytimes for both preschoolers (3-5ish) and babies (up to about 18 mos.).
About my libraryBecause I do storytime, I have several children's books. I like having my favorites at home just in case I need them for work.

My name is Yasmin, I am trying to find information on Lay Morals and other Papers by Robert Louis Stevenson.
Quite a few years ago, I obtained a copy from a second-hand bookshop, it is a first edition, 1911, and has news paper articles from that era cut out and glued to it,with the response to the books release.
It has scripted ink writing which is difficult to read - although possible - and has been signed with a signiture "R.L.S"
Although there seems to be another name on the the inside cover -D.Matthews
and underneath it is written "Mihrbani" dated 12.6.11
One of the scripted writings in the back:
Puritan Names
Be thankful Maynard
Safely on high Snat.
Search the Scriptures Moreton.
Yree gift Mabbs
Kill Sin Pmbli,
Seek wisdom wood
Muck merry ery Wood
Yaint not Hurst.
Yth peace of God Knight
Yight the good fight of faith white.
Not sure if I copied correctly the writing is quite decorative.
It has quite a few other scripted writings in it, Is there a way to get a copy of Robert Louis Stevenson's signiture?
The only other explanation I can come up with is it may of been a teachers book?
Thanking you
Yasmin
