Hello, I just wanted to drop you a line to let you know how much I really enjoyed reading Guernica. I still have to write my review for it and put it here, on amazon and on my blog. I will let you know when it is posted. Anyway, I had such a hard time picking up any other books for a few days because your characters were so rich that they just would not leave me very quickly. I even had to borrow a Basque cookbook from the library so that I could make myself Gateau Basque for my birthday. I have since ordered this cookbook to add to my collection as well. I love to cook foods from around the world and please let your Basque family know that I will do my best to honor their fine traditions in cooking. Thank You again for such a fine book. It truly moved me.

I wanted you to know that I had an advance copy of Guernica and absolutely loved it. My review will post on my blog on Friday, and I will post it on LibraryThing sometime after that.

I hope you will enjoy LibraryThing, and that you will use it to catalog your own library. I would love to see what books we share!
