Previously, I taught high school, vocational school, was an instructor in Industrial Education at Wichita State University, then became a minister for the Reorganized Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints (now the Community of Christ), re-entered secular employment and had my own speaking/seminar business. Then, GE transportation systems recruited me and I traveled all fifty United States, plus England, France and Italy, as a Senior Corporate trainer for cultural and technical training of adults. Lastly, I came back to academia to conclude my career. I retired from Morningside College, as an Associate Professor of Secondary Education on August 31, 2011. I am now beginning of process of donating many of my books to our local Friends of the Library(FOTL), as we won't be able to move the weight of all of them to our last retirement home. About my libraryMy library has been EXTENSIVE! I had over 300 textbooks and more than 2,000 volumes of a huge mixture of every reading genre you can imagine--especially positive thinking, since I was in the ministry! I never sold a book, since my sophomore year in college 50 years ago, which then included a 5-year undergraduate program, a Master's Degree and a Ph.D. in adult education.
