About meI am a recently retired, non-tv-watching woman with time to read some of the zillion books on my wishlist.

About my libraryI like reading or re-reading literary classics, fiction set in exotic (to me) places, and mysteries. Topicwise, I'm drawn to tales of exploration, the immigrant experience, armed conflict and the lives of writers and artists. Quirkwise, I can find guidebooks to long-distance trails, like those published by Cicerone, enthralling, as I imagine myself plodding through muddy fields, through gates, over stiles.

My LT library consists of books owned that I have read or am committed to reading in the next few years, as well as some well-remembered unowned books.
