About meI'm a librarian professionally but not working as one. I am an avid library user and not a big purchaser of books anymore, even though I still own many.

About my libraryThis library will consist only of books I have read, not books that I own

Noticed that you liked The Heart is a Lonely Hunter, and I was wondering if you'd be interested in reviewing my new novel and posting your comments here (as well as on a few other book-related sites). I thought you might like my novel since it's been compared to that novel by a number of reviewers. I could e-mail you the novel in an e-book format if you'd like. Let me know if you're interested. Here's a link to a summary in case you're interested:

Thanks,

Thank you for your review of My Sister's Keeper. God, I hated that book. "not recommended unless you're an idiot" made me laugh out loud. Thanks for that!
We share 20 books in our Libraries! Burroughs, Chabon, Irving, Oates, and Roth are some of my favorite authors. My book club has a site you might enjoy. http://www.keneast.info/bookclub/newbook.... You can see other books I have read, read reviews, and see where we go to dinner! I have been in the Book Club since December 2003. I received an email response from Augusten Burroughs when I contacted him after reading Running With Scissors! Keep reading! Any suggestions not on my list you particularly enjoyed? I really enjoyed A Confederacy of Dunces and The Devil in the White City. Jeff
