About meI currently study Communication and Leadership at Gonzaga University. I graduated with a BA in English and Communication with emphases in Mass Media Studies and Creative Writing from the University of Washington. I want to wholly pursue my vocation (1 Tim. 4:14-16) to share creativity via writing, photography, and scholarship as a pathway to encourage people and organizations to heal and to grow amid loss.

My many research interests fall under these categories: narrative health, ethics, digital/storytelling, rhetorics, writing, and communication and leadership. For my doctorate studies, I want to collaborate with academic organizations to design innovative advanced degree programs for today's students, to partner with computer mediated communication (CMC) organizations to design healthcare communication systems that yield more ethical spaces, to write/publish books, and to work with international and graduate students to develop their writing, digital storytelling, research ethics, communication theory, and organizational leadership frameworks. I also want to collaborate with academic colleagues to design hybrid advanced degree programs. In short I want to walk hand-in-hand with the social sciences _and_ arts and humanities. Together we can inform science, technology, and healthcare.

Overall I want to connect and network with people in meaningful and beneficial ways. I desire to love Jesus with my life and to live by a vocation. This means I define faith as a formative vision, or acting on what _will_ exist. I am married to James. I eat my veggies and I
