About my library I am unlike many book lovers in that I don't actually like to keep books, except for the ones I plan to read multiple times, or value for sentimental reasons. I prefer to pass books along to others for their enjoyment, and keep my book shelves streamlined. My thinking is that if I really need the book again I can borrow it from the library or purchase it. So, I use LibraryThing as a record of books I've read, rather than books I own, although I do own some of the books in my LibraryThing library.
