About me i've always loved living near the ocean, i think it's that i have too much water running though my veins, i've never cared for the cold, but i do love the cool days of the fall when the shadows begin to extend and the leaves change. if you've ever stood by the ocean in the fall you can taste and smell this cornucopia of life, that just seems to get jumbled up during all the other seasons. i live a very spiritual life, have practiced zen for twenty years, love the words of rumi, the beliefs of sufi and the interconnectedness of life. Even so I have found that what is most important is not what we believe, but how we live our lives and that we are true to who we say we are. i love laughter, bad jokes, smiling, watching my sons grow, telling people i love them. living now and letting the past be just that. i love church bells on sunday morning. i believe in keeping healthy and fit both physically and mentally. mostly i enjoy living life and all that it has to offer.

About my library I live love and cherish books. they are more than words on paper, but life itself the logos and the dharma. they are meant to be read shared and in some way improve our lives. i am slowly adding books here, but in the mean time you can find the vast majority of my library online at www.dharmabox.org......
