Thanks for pointing out the option to become a LibraryThing author. As it happened, I had just written to Abby and am already the proud owner of a shiny yellow badge :-)
Keep up the good work,

I'm definitely interested in becoming a LibraryThing author, and I've met both the catalog requirement and membership requirement already - however, I do not have materials listed on Amazon yet, as that requires purchasing ISBN for my materials. I currently publish via LULU, and will be moving into the larger markets once I make that purchase, but: If LibraryThing searches any indices which pick up LULU publications, then I'm good to go. I simply haven't had the research time to devote to that yet - if you're aware of such existing, then I'll immediately email Abby - otherwise, I'll bide my time until I have a more mainstream listing.
That said, many thanks for the heads up - I've been looking into this for a while, and it definitely struck my interest when I first saw the option.

Thank you for your hospitality and encouragement. I just created my author profile yesterday with the photo and when I have a spare moment, I'm adding books so I can reach the 50 requirement. Please bear with me on this. I really appreciate all of your help. The Darwinism/intelligent design debate is a "hot" topic these days, and I'm hoping to keep discussions civil and polite. I am saying things and making arguments that no author has made before; my book is a new work that seeks to reconcile Dr. Darwin's theories with intelligent design theory where possible. For example, I begin the discussion of biological evolution (evolution is real) with analysis of NASA's latest discoveries concerning the Big Bang. Please feel free to offer suggestions on the Author page, as I am eager to qualify as one of your authors.

I wish someone had told me earlier about the "Full Name" thing. I was really hoping to get a book this time out. Ah well, maybe August will be my lucky month.
