About meJohn lives in suburban Maryland with his wife Jennifer. During the 1990's he kicked around in the D.C. industrial-electro-goth scene in the band Dead Letter Office and owned Rack and Ruin Studio. Currently he is a full-time member of the bizarro community, functioning as an author of poetry, nonfiction, and stories, as well as an editor.

He is best known for taking his coffee with melted butter. Other highlights include eating saltines with soy sauce, dry ramen noodles, and sugar with water. His collection of Godzilla junk is only rivalled by that of Michael Hemmingson. In his spare time John does things like co-produce short films and change his undergarments.

His hip-hop science fiction satirical horror novel Last Burn in Hell is available now, along with several collections of poetry and short fiction. Coming soon: the postmodern erotic horror novel Sin Conductor, the bizarre poetry collection The Troublesome Amputee, and the black humor collection Discouraging at Best.

John is also a founding editor of Raw Dog Screaming Press, and their new imprint Two Backed Books.
