About meI'm a playwright, translator, and graduate student. I read a lot of plays new and old.

About my libraryThe bulk of my library is theatre books with many linguistics and language books (my prior career). In 2008 I won the 21st Annual Neureuther Student Book Collection Essay Competition through Washington University's Olin Library for my collection of Catalan theatre texts and my accompanying essay "The Gift of Drama."

Quins camins més estranys té la vida... de Barcelona a St. Louis passant per La Valenciana i Librarything! Records des de Barcelona!

Thanks. I had figured it out shortly after I sent you the message. I couldn't figure out the language, it's not italian or spanish, nor french. Catalan, that makes sense :-)
Thanks for the suggestion, I'll add the book to my "to read" list.
I think it must have been his own. This would have been in the spring/summer of 2004. I knew about Philadelphia, but did not know about Chicago! Which theatre company is doing it, do you know? I will have to bring all my friends.
I first got to know Guillem through Bookcrossing.com. When Skin in Flames won the first big award and was produced in Barcelona, we were all thrilled, and G uillem sent me an early draft of an English translation. When he came to Chicago that summer. I was able to introduce him to a friend who's artistic director of a theatre company, hoping that the play would be produced here, but you guys in St. Louis beat Chicago out. I was very disappointed that I couldn't get there for the opening, but time and money did not cooperate.
oops, I think it's "while England sleeps"....
Hi, you have a book by David Leavitt that's called "Mentre Angleterra dorm". Is that an orinial work in English, or is it a translation of one of his work? If so, which work?
Thanks.
Impressive and eclectic plays.
