About meI don't get to read nearly as much as I would like. Only within the past two years have I gotten into science fiction as a genre. Before that it was mostly history books or the random novel here or there for fun.

About my libraryWhat is on LT is very limited. I haven't moved up to a paid account and when I do it will become a little more extensive.

I only took the first Modern Britain class. I had intended to take the second, but I never got the chance.
With Jeff Cox at Iowa? Yes, I did. Have you taken one of his classes?
I'm in, buddy!

Yeah, I'm lucky enough to have found four other guys that share my love of books & beer and we meet every month, rotating from one home to another, and choosing an eclectic literary mix. We have no rules except you can't pick a book you've already read & you have to bring beer! It's called B.C. Musical Glass, from the Samuel Taylor Coleridge alcohol-inspired quote: "Some men are like musical glasses; to produce their finest tones you must keep them wet."

Maybe we can do something similar here, although the "lubrication" could be challenging ...
That's perfect for me. Angevin England is the period/country I study the most. Many thanks for the recommendation.

Always nice to find others interested in medieval history. I found your profile through the Medieval Europe group. Any particular book you would recommend? What's your favorite non-fiction book on medieval history? I'm always looking for new books to add to my library. Thanks.
