About meProfessionally, I have had my share of failures and successes in my ten-year career to date. I have international management experience in a variety of functional and project management roles across multiple Sage ERP product lines in Customer Support, Operations and Software Development. I am currently an MBA student at the Segal Graduate School of Business in downtown Vancouver. I love to learn, connect with people and turn good teams into great teams. This blog will discuss my personal perspective on business and concepts I learn in my studies or readings.
Personally, I have a beautiful fiancée Min Chi who is soon to be my wife. We are opposites in almost every way. She is my soul mate and valued companion in good times and bad. I am also fortunate to have a wonderful family back in Ireland. I miss them often and hope to return home eventually even if the standard of life has certainly declined after the bust of the Celtic Tiger. I have come to value the humor of the people, the quality of the debate, the dreadful weather and the beauty of the country far more since I left home in my early twenties. That said there are good people everywhere. I am fortunate to have made many wonderful friends in Ireland, California, Sydney and Vancouver.
Please feel free to share your comments with me on any post or related topic. I am a firm believer that dissent is patriotic. The greater the variety of contributions the more informed I am likely to be.
Thanks again,
Donal
