About me(biographical note from "A Newer Testament") In his hour upon the stage, Reneau H. Reneau developed a repertory that included appearances strutting as preacher's kid and then PFC, sawing the air as US History teacher and computer instructor, fretting as programmer and systems analyst, and bellowing as a judgmental welfare case worker. Venues include Ft. Lewis, Maryland, Mexico, and California. In the 50's he edited and contributed to "The Torquasian Times" in Santa Cruz, and to "The Oxford Accent" in Berkeley. While in Mexico in the 70's, he wrote and published "Programacion de Computadoras" and "Misanthropoesy." Now in Los Angeles, in 2003 he authored "Misanthropology: A Florilegium of Bahumbuggery" and in 2008 "A Newer Testament: Misanthropology Unleashed."
About my libraryI not only read books (good), I hoard them (bad). But every time we change venue, some of my collection remains behind (sad). I don't know how many I have now; we had to build a basement to put them on shelves and still there are bookcases in every room and newer arrivals stacked on chairs around the house. Starting with the 3 B's (Burgess, Baum, and Burroughs) they progress through Steinbeck, Shelley, Bradbury, Shaw, ee cummings, Kenneth Patchen, Don Marquis, Kurt Vonnegut, and Rius, to mention but a few of my significant authors. See listing for ample sampling.
