About meI am a complete "bookaholic" which started to become already a serious problem when I was a child. I prefer reading to watching television. On my days off you will find me quite often in the charity shops or local bookstore to stock up my library. I live in and come from Germany but have been working in London since 1996. I read whatever fetches my interest and whatever it is I need to placate my brain cells at a particular time.

About my libraryAt the tender age of 14 my father introduced me to Marion Zimmer Bradley and Frank Herbert which made me hooked on Fantasy and Science Fiction, but I also enjoy historical fiction, thriller and non-fiction. I also have a passion for childen books and fairy tales.

At Christmas in 2010 I became a kindle ebook reader from my family and now I find myself with a growing pile of TBR ebooks. My intention is to eventually read them all and I started to enter them as well, so that I know what I do actually have. I view the ebooks as disposable reads, whichever book I loved and I would read again I will try to get as a "real" book.

My Rating

* and * 1/2 stars - Forget about it, it either bored me or I hated it
** and ** 1/2 stars - OK, but would not read again
*** and *** 1/2 stars - Good
**** Hard to put down
***** Perfect read, will definitely go onto my favourite list
