Thanks for thinking me worthy of friendship and please accept my apology for this delayed response. I got rather wrapped up in work and in a group of Tennis fans on LT, what with The Australian Open going on this week and next. Anyway, you got pushed down the page and I just forgot about you for a while, so I apologize for that.
Regarding your friend request, I'm going to be blunt and hopefully not sound too much like a jerk, but the fact is I don't know you, and I decided (after accepting a friend request from someone I didn't really know) that I wasn't going to do it again until I really got to know the person making (or receiving) the request. So, while I won't accept your request now, I'm open to getting to know you via book (or whatever) discussions, and I have no problem with doing the "interesting library" thing since, given we share around 500 books, we're clearly on the same reading wavelength:)
I just scanned the list of our shared books and, hey, you've got a bunch of horseclans books, which is a series where I re-read several of the books every couple of years. As I've posted elsewhere on LT, I still remember very vividly picking up "A Cat of Silvery Hue" when I was in the 9th grade. I loved (and still do love) the cover art and the story of Sir Geros and his Silver Cat (actually, I've always thought he should have received a Golden Cat, or at least a Silver Cat, First Class, because if memory serves, he only got a Second Class Cat). Yep, we've definitely got some similar reading tastes, though I haven't gotten around to actually reading a number of the books we share.
Switching gears for a moment, I do have a question for you that I've wondered about ever since I saw your name some time ago. Are you a fan of the band of similar name? I always liked that "Fly Me Courageous" song (hopefully you know what the heck I'm talking about:)
Anyway, that's all for now since it's getting late.
Talk with you soon, hopefully.

Just picked up several Carco's. Looking forward to them.
Should be interesting.
Ever read Charles Williams? Hill Girl, Big City Girl,
River Girl, Hot Spot (Hell Hath No Fury), etc. Right up your alley.
