About meI pastor a Baptist church in North Little Rock, Arkansas. My wife and I have seven grown children and nine grandchildren.
About my libraryI have a passion for books and love to read. As a pastor I find myself drawn to theological and doctrinal-type works that help me in my preaching and ministry. Devotional works are also a large part of what I seek out. I especially enjoy biographical pieces whether secular or Christian. I also enjoy a good novel (secular or Christian) and find them very entertaining as well as distracting from the normal grind of my work. In addition, I have several very old pieces that I either inherited, had given to me along the way, purchased in a used book store, or found in a yard sale somewhere. I have a certain respect for the aged ones partly because they have survived.
