About meWe love books and even reading them too, sometimes. We are a happy bookish couple, always dreaming of more time to read. One of us teaches books at a small indie school, the other sells them at a small indie store. Our library is growing larger than Gammera. If only we had more shell. We love all books,(except for the dumb ones) but fiction and fantasy seem to be dominating our shelves at this hour. We are especially keen on literature from Maine, Japan and Australia for some reason. Oh, and Canada. We are always on the prowl for new and exciting authors to plunge into. Finally,is this the end of zombie shakespeare?

Noticed you liked The Virgin Suicides, and I was wondering if you'd be interested in reviewing my new novel and posting your comments here as well as a few other book-related sites. Thought you might like my book since it's also about a dysfunctional family and a bit dark. I could e-mail you the novel in an e-book format if you'd like (I'm out of physical copies at the moment). Let me know if you're interested. Here's a link to a summary in case you're interested:

OOOH! I have egg on my face...I just finished reading...Bar Harbor. Such a wonderful place! I first visited from Vermont as a 10 year old. We spent two weeks camping in the park...First day by slightly older brother chopped off his index finger (well almost) and spent every day with a bag over his arm when we went to Sand Beach. Enjoyed that again last summer. Not the brother thing...Sand Beach. I miss Maine. I also lived in Fryeburg while working at the Red Jacket Inn in North Conway, NH. I loved the ocean and enjoyed that part of ME most, although the mountains and state parks on the western side are lovely. I want to move back to ME...It's funny, I was thinking about it just last night. I am considering going to Nova Scotia this summer and want to check out Fundy Bay so I was thinking about it since I need to catch the CAT. So here I am rambling on about all of this and I don't even know you, but I think to talk about something I love so much is relaxing. Sorry if you are on the other side thinking....HMMMM Thanks for reading, Tara Finnegan
We are the only ones who have A is for Acadia! Yeah for us. I bought it on a trip there this summer. I teach fourth grade in Syracuse, NY and love using ABC books and using them as a project. As a past pastry chef (actually in ME-York Harbor-Stage Neck Inn) I would like to write a cookie ABC book. Maybe with recipes. I also like Austrian books-well actually scenery of Australia. I visited my brother there two summers ago with my 10 year old at the time son. Great time. Where are you from? Just curious. I was guessing ME. Thanks for reading-write back if you'd like. Tara Finnegan
