Hi,

Saw you liked Trainspotting, and I was wondering if you'd be interested in reading my new novel and posting your comments here (as well as on a few other book-related sites). Thought you might like my novel since it's also about a group of disturbed kids and a bit dark. I could e-mail you the novel in an e-book format if you'd like. Let me know if you're interested. Here's a link to a summary in case you're interested:

Thanks,

Hello

You may have already responded to this message and now have the book. If so you can ignore this letter. On April 1, 2009 you were sent the following message to your Library Thing profile:

“You have been selected for the Library Thing Giveaway of the novel Convergence by Christopher Turner. As indicated in the description in the Giveaway posting, Convergence is packaged as an eBook and therefore the book must be sent to you by email. The book is given to you for free but you must use an activation key to open the book, and this needs to be emailed. Please reply to this message by emailing general@convergence-cpt.com. For the activation process to work your name must match that associated with the email address you use. Once you confirm your wish to receive the free eBook, the book and the activation key will be sent to you.

Thank you.”

To obtain the novel Convergence, please follow the instructions above.

You may wish to visit the book’s website, www.convergence-cpt.com.

Christopher Turner.

PS: a quote from a Library Thing member who already has the eBook:

“I also like the set up that is the first time I read one that looked like a book and pages turn instead of scrolling up”

You may also wish to go to the review of the book at:

http://www.booktalk.org/post46129.html#4...
The e-book is in pdf so you'll be able to read it without any trouble. Send me your e-mail address (mine is mail@christophertusa.com) and I'll send it over.

Thanks,

Chris

Hi - I saw (and liked) your review of Firmin which I've just read. Then I spotted me in your list to the right and had to say hello. I also like your review of 'The Dig' which I read earlier this year. It was a lovely book, as was Firmin. I hope you write more reviews - I love reading what other people think of books so keep it up.
Cheers
Annabel
I recently finished a PhD in Experimental Physics, but I've left it all behind to go work in the world of management consulting.
