Since you asked... I hate reading for a lot of reasons!
--can't sit still
--hip hurts
--leg cramps
--stiff freakin' neck
--uncomfortable drop in body temperature
--attention span!
--eyes close
--head jerks
--I nod off!
--if interrupted my crappy memory will not hold the details and if I don't get back to it in an hour or so, I'll have to back up, maybe way up, like back to the beginning--this is really a problem in a mystery novel, where guessing whodunit is really the whole point of reading the book, or in really meaty books with complicated plot details like The DaVinci Code.
--I should be doing something else... vacuuming or something... oh, the guilt!
And on top of all that, there's those pesky overdue fines at the library! Sheesh!
