About meI am a proponent of Virtue Ethics and my Religion is The Cosmic Consciousness.
I’m Originally from Marietta, GA. American by birth, Southern by the grace of whoever is up there, or not. Divorced. No children. You should thank me. The buck definitely stops here. I’m a baby boomer and Ex-con. Why include Ex-con. I believe in being honest, not only to one's self, but to others. My interest are numbers – math and physics, books, music – clarinet, calligraphy – traditional dip pens, wood working – custom furniture and articulated toys, computer drawing and animation, computers – the specs on my custom rig follow, humor and anything beautiful. I’m an auto mechanic by trade. I consider myself to be an eclectic person. I am an enigma wrapped up in a paradox packaged in a conundrum. I once was incorporated as Not Whole Graphics. (True.) Need I say more? (No, I didn't mean condom.) I was a service station owner/operator in Moore, OK when buying gasoline meant going to the neighborhood service station, complete with pump jockeys and real mechanics, not to the 7-11. I’ve had way too many occupations, including bank robber. I’ve attended Georgia Tech, the University of Oklahoma, General Motors Training Center - I finished that one, Art Institute of Atlanta, a bunch of certificate programs – I completed every one – and, of course, the school of hard knocks – I completed that one, too. It took me 5 years, 10 days and 17 hours, but who’s counting. Even with all the, almost, formal education, I consider myself an Autodidact. I don’t have a TV or radio. But who needs one when you have the computer set-up I have. Go Kick Ass Torrents. I don’t own a car or drive. You’re happy for that one, too. I missed Viet Nam because of day-night vision in my left eye. I voluntarily quit driving in 1992. I was becoming a danger to everyone. I used to play duplicate bridge and was successful at it. I didn’t make it to Life Master – I got divorced in 1976 and didn’t compete after that – but I did have a bunch of points. Lots of black and 6 red and 1 gold. Music is my mainstay. I’m a rock n roller but listen to everything but Alpine yodeling. Southern rock rules. Little Feat, ABB, ARS, Lynyrd Skynyrd and The Outlaws, to name a few. Leon Russell, The Beatles, The Stones, The Cranberries, NIN, Primus, Doris Day, Judy Garland, Katie Melua, Glen Miller, Benny Goodman, Billie Holiday, Bela Fleck, Mazzy Star, Norton Buffalo, Mozart, Puccini, I can go on for days. But the absolute best for me is Dido. I would kill to see her live. And may if she tours with Girl Who Got Away. I saw Dylan in 1966 in Atlanta right after he went electric. I don’t have time for ignorant people, but I embrace anyone wanting to learn. I believe I should have been a teacher. “You teach best what you most need to learn.” I’ve built many standard computers for others, but have built two monsters for myself. The first was a P4 dual monitor set-up in 2002, when dual monitors were rare. It finally died a few years ago. Last year I built the monster I have now.
