About meI am a 20-something student from Western Washington. I live with my boyfriend in a little duplex which is crammed with books in every single room. Collecting books is something I've always done. Unfortunately, collecting bookcases isn't! If you're interesting in reading my book reviews, please visit my book blog at http://crescentmoonreviews.wordpress.com...

About my libraryMy library is very diverse. My favorite authors are J.R.R. Tolkien, Neil Gaiman, Jane Austen, Amy Tan, Marion Zimmer Bradley, Charles Dickens, John Sandford, and Douglas Preston & Lincoln Child, so my bookshelves are full of classics, modern-day thrillers, horror, and Tolkien's collected works. I also enjoy non-fiction, and you'll find books about English history, interior decorating, fairies, and culture.

Just wandering around and saying hello to people. :)
Thanks for the invite - I assume from your picture you are Echo from BCF?
Take care

I enjoyed your review of A Wizard of Earthsea and dropped by to say that the next book, The Tombs of Atuan, is even better than the first and is probably one of my all-time favorite books. The Farthest Shore is alright, definitely the weakest of the original trilogy, and don't even get me started on the other Earthsea books she wrote later. They're surprisingly poor (I know, it sounds crazy to say Le Guin could write a bad book).

Anyhow, now that I've rambled — enjoy the second book! :-)

Yo! I love this site. I love being able to see how smart I am based on the number of books I own. It is evident that you are smarter than me.

Hi Elbereth587, How did I find you? Well, usually I just follow a name from either a post, probably Green Dragon, and if we have alot of books in common or they have something interesting to say I will add them to my int libraries list.Have you ever received a book from ER yet? I also like to read reviews since everyone doesn't have them and I think they help get the ER books. I figure, too, if we have books in common we have something we can share. Thanks for replying and have a great week to come.Mary Beth
Hi, I think I know how to leave you a link: http://www.librarything.com/talktopic.ph...

Let me know if this does not work.
Hi, I just read your post about living in Washington State and dealing with ferries. I used to live on Vashon so I know what you mean.

I hope you have considered getting together with the other Green Dragon folks who are trying to create a get together this summer. You can check out the threads on Green Dragon about summer get together Pacific Northwest

I am sorry I don't have the exact title. If you can't find it let me know and I'll do better. Hope you can join us in either Seattle or Victoria. We are voting our preferences on Monday, 3/10.
Happy New Year!
