About meI am the mother of 2 girls, ages 17 and 13, and work FT in user experience design. My long commute affords me time to listen to audiobooks. I would put reading top on my list of favorite things to do, along with running to de-stress, making hand-stamped greeting cards and playing with my golden retrievers Ella Bean (6yrs) and Maisy(3yrs).

About my libraryI rarely buy a book but rely on requesting books online through my library network which is pretty well stocked. I run an un-bookclub in my town where we don't read books together but recommend them and lend them, give reviews instead. Its the low stress version of the standard bookclub.

yay! you must have just updated this - glad to see all that you've been reading!
You might try "The Night Circus" by Erin Morgenstern. I liked it a lot!

Amazon Best Books of the Month, September 2011: Erin Morgenstern’s dark, enchanting debut takes us to the black and white tents of Le Cirque des Reves, a circus that arrives without warning, simply appearing when yesterday it was not there. Young Celia and Marco have been cast into a rivalry at The Night Circus, one arranged long ago by powers they do not fully understand. Over time, their lives become more intricately enmeshed in a dance of love, joy, deceit, heartbreak, and magic. Author Morgenstern knows her world inside and out, and she guides the reader with a confident hand. The setting and tone are never less than mesmerizing. The characters are well-realized and memorable. But it is the Night Circus itself that might be the most memorable of all. --Chris Schluep
I have finally found some time to explore this website!
Noticed you liked The Glass Castle, and I was wondering if you'd be interested in reviewing my new novel and posting your comments here as well as a few other book-related sites. Thought you might like my book since it's also about a dysfunctional family and a bit dark. I could e-mail you the novel in an e-book format if you'd like (I'm out of physical copies at the moment). Let me know if you're interested. Here's a link to a summary (and a sample chapter) in case you'd like to learn a little more about the book before you commit:

Thanks!
Hey Mom! Hope you find another audio-book good enough to drive 10 miles per hour around town. =) Love, Molly
Hey there! Your library looks remarkably similar to mine! I have to kind of laugh at your photo, too. If I didn't know better, I'd think it was mine! We also have a golden retriever & honestly, from that view, you look a lot like me peeking behind MY dog. Wild! :')
Great library - welcome to the best addiction I've found in a long time - btw - how was center of everything? lots of people on this site recommend it -
