About me Full-time grad student in the Medical Sciences. Other obsessions include knitting and cooking--especially the more "bold" cuisines.

I'm one of those rare individuals who likes the vast majority of books that I read, so take my ratings with a grain of salt.

Traditionally, I have been mainly a science fiction/fantasy and "classics" fan, though in the last three years or so, I have branched out and started reading both best sellers and top-awarded books. I'm not gonna lie, I'm a sucker for love stories, but I don't do "romance novels"--both the bodice-ripping kinds and the more modern ones that have pink covers, shoes, and shopping bags.

As of this moment, I've kind of taken a break from consuming new material, and I'm re-reading a lot of my old fantasy epics that I already own--grad school has kind of sucked the rest of my brain out and I now can't seem to remember due dates of library books. Oh well.

About my library I'm a big fan of libraries (as in the kind that you can borrow and then return books), so this LT is a combination of my library at home as well as books that I have read but not purchased. I am doing this mainly for recommendations and ideas for what to read next, as well as trying to keep track of what I have read.
