About meAvid reader and obsessive cataloguer. In approximate descending order of frequency, I read speculative fiction, poetry, graphic novels, French lit, pretty much any other type of fiction, and occasional nonfiction (mostly science and biography).

My best friend and I share a book blog: The Black Letters, which features everything from reviews, to author interviews, to recipes based on our favorite books. The emphasis is on speculative fiction, but really anything we read ends up there sooner or later.

Some of my favorite places to read and buy:
Betterworld Books (new and used books, profits go to literacy charities)
Subterranean Press (dark fantasy, sci-fi, and weird fiction. they publish gorgeous high-end limited editions, plus free online fiction.)
Clarkesworld (pretty much consistently excellent sci-fi and fantasy short fiction, free online)

About my libraryCurrently own far too many books that I haven't read yet.

Have begun collecting signed/limited/rare editions every now and then!

Am stupidly persnickety about editions and cover art.
