I just picked up In the Lake of the Woods based on the recommendation of a member of my department, but I haven't dipped into it yet. Did you like it? If you've enjoyed O'Brien I would highly recommend Tobais Wolff's In Pharaoh's Army and Alfredo Vea's Gods Go Begging, both excellent books by Vietnam vets which I've found most vets actually enjoy more than O'Brien.
As for Havel, Open Letters was what pulled me into his orbit, and I enjoyed To the Castle and Back as well. If you haven't read any of his plays yet, a good starting point is The Garden Party. The Memorandum and Unveiling are also excellent, as is his version of The Beggar's Opera. As for books on Havel and his thoughts, my favorite is James Pontuso's Vaclav Havel: Civic Responsibility in the Postmodern Age, though I haven't read everything out there (yet!). What Havel have you enjoyed most?
I also see you have Baghdad Express in your library. What did you think of it?
