About meMy friends call me EO. I'm 29yrs old, and have just completed my Bachelor's in Computer Information Systems along with writing my first novel "Dirtball: The Diaires of a Worthless Somebody". It's been quite a year. The info regarding my book is that it is my first novel, an autobiographical novel and in some sense is considered a newer genre of nonfiction books from what I hear. In the book I illustrate important moments in my life for the reader to experience. I wanted the concept of this book to have the reader embrace the emotional and comical moments of my life and relate to them, and by the end of the book have the realization that there's always a bright sun waiting to meet our mornings, just so long as we brush all the negatives in life away and accept them for what they are, which are moments in life to learn, experience, and grow from; and not just to dwell on. The moment that I started writing this novel was in the time that I had decided to better myself, and get situated in life. I have a strange background to my lifestyle and was not raised in a structured environment. My upbringing was very rough and diverse while living with my mother, yet gentle in times when being with my Grandparents. I grew up and saw the addictions that my mother had take hold of my family. I'm quite familiar with being in the dumps. On the day that I decided to better myself, was also the day that a dear friend of mine had called me a hurtful remark. I found it ironic that the remark was a complete acronym for what I was trying to achieve at that time. I was also in the middle of a heartbreaking realization that the girl of my dreams would continue to only be in my dreams. I took my emotional reactions from all these situations and decided to for once put them into writing, and try to become a positive person. Rather than sit and dwell, why not analyze, overcome, and appreciate who you are in life? :)
