About meI love books!! I'm a wife, a mother, an office manager, a student; I'm opinionated, I'm impulsive, I'm slightly neurotic, I love tattoos, I love music, I hate mushrooms - but mainly I am a lover of books. I love the smell, I love the feel, I love the knowledge they contain, I love the potential for adventure and new friends, and I love talking about them afterwards!!

About my libraryMy library is eclectic but not extensive at the moment. I just unloaded a bunch of books at the local women's shelter, and a bunch with the ladies in my office. I try to circulate books as much as possible, only hanging on to the few I know I'll read more than twice.

Doh! Make that 'Stephen King Flavor of the Month'! Though with SK, 'Flavor of the Moth' might be appropriate as well...
Well, I'm part of the Stephen King Flavor of the Moth reading project where we are reading everything he's written (that is readily available) in order. So like it or lump it, I *will* be reading all seven Dark Tower books eventually.
I read The Gunslinger and The Drawing of the Three, but honestly they just weren't my bag. Another novel of his that I really didn't like was Insomnia which sounded fantastic, but was so closely tied to the Dark Tower it almost couldn't stand on its own.

I did like Low Men in Yellow Coats a lot though, even though it was also pretty closely tied to Dark Tower lore.
