About meAustralian philosopher at the University of Rochester.
About my libraryThe books catalogued here represent about three quarters of my total collection, since I haven't been bothered yet to enter many books without ISBNs. They also include many books owned by my partner. I keep track of books I would like to read here: http://www.goodreads.com/user/show/13950...

I'm trying to research a book to get my dad for Christmas. He claims he's enjoyed Patrick White but read all of his that he intends to. Would you have any suggestions for a similar author?
Much obliged if you do happen to think of anything. No worries at all if you don't.
Fox.

At this time the Parker Tyler Memorial Library is a private enterprise, with visits by personal arrangement only, and is guarded 24-hours a day by pit-bull. You may note that its contents are extensively indexed in our Librarything account; the heart of the collection is a shelf of materials by and about Mr. Tyler himself.
Appointments are always available; if you wish to view materials or have further queries, please contact one of our Library's curators at the emails on our Profile.
Yours truly,
the PTML
